What Nola reads in your texts
Who texts first
Who starts the conversations, who keeps them going, who lets them die.
Reply patterns
How the length, the speed and the tone of the replies changed over time.
Effort
The questions asked back, the plans made, the attention visible on each side.
The shift
The moment something changed, and what came right before it.
Mixed signals
Intense messages followed by silence, hot and cold, breadcrumbing.
Words vs. actions
What gets promised over text, and what actually happens.
Red flags
Guilt-tripping, control, sudden coldness, apologies with no change.
The big picture
What all of it says about the relationship, taken together.
Nola works from the messages themselves and quotes the exact lines behind each point. She describes behavior you can see; she never claims to know what the other person is thinking.
How it works
- Screenshot or export your textsUp to 5 screenshots of the part that matters, or a full WhatsApp export (Without Media).
- Upload them and answer a few questionsNola asks for the context your texts don’t show: how long you’ve been talking, what worries you.
- Read your previewAn overall score, five areas and the signals detected, for free. Unlock the full report if you want it.
How to screenshot or export your texts
iMessage and SMS on iPhone
Open the conversation, scroll to the part that matters and press the side button and volume up at the same time (side button and Home on models with a Home button). Repeat for up to 5 screenshots.
Texts on Android
Open the conversation and press power and volume down at the same time. Some phones also offer a scrolling screenshot that captures more in one image.
WhatsApp on iPhone
Open the chat → tap the contact’s name → Export Chat → Without Media → Save to Files.
WhatsApp on Android
Open the chat → ⋮ menu → More → Export chat → Without media → save the file.
Instagram DMs, Snapchat, Messenger, Tinder or Hinge: screenshots work the same way. Menu names can vary slightly depending on your phone and app version.
The questions it helps you answer
- “Is he losing interest, or am I overthinking?”
- “Why are his replies getting shorter?”
- “Am I always the one texting first?”
- “Is she just a dry texter, or is something off?”
- “What changed in the last few weeks?”
- “Are we in a relationship or a situationship?”
Nola doesn’t answer these with a vibe: she goes by what your texts show over time, and tells you what she can’t know, too.
What texts often reveal
The imbalance
One person texts, follows up and asks the questions; the other barely answers.
The fade
Replies that get shorter, gaps that get longer, plans that stop coming.
Hot and cold
Intense messages, then hours or days left on read with no explanation.
Promises on repeat
“I’ll change,” “let’s hang out soon”… and nothing after.
Guilt-tripping
Blame flipped back on you, apologies that always come from the same side.
Avoidance
Important topics dodged, fights that never get resolved.
Why get your texts analyzed instead of rereading them?
Rereading a conversation when you’re anxious means looking for proof of what you fear. You read too much into one short reply, forget the weeks when everything was fine, and miss the trend. An outside read looks at the whole thing: the rhythm, the balance, the turning points, without the emotion of the moment.
It’s also what makes Nola different from a general chatbot: she’s built for relationships, asks follow-up questions and writes a structured report instead of one long answer.
No texts to upload?
You can just talk to Nola and tell her what’s going on in your own words. And if you’d like to check in with yourself first, a free quiz can help you pin down your question:
- You feel controlled, put down or guilty all the time: toxic relationship quiz.
- His texts changed and you’re wondering why: is he cheating quiz.
- You’re torn between staying and leaving: should I break up quiz.
What the analysis can't do
Texts don’t say everything: calls, time spent together and context aren’t in them. That’s why Nola asks context questions, and why her analysis is a reading of your messages, not a verdict on a person. It doesn’t replace advice from a licensed professional.
Frequently asked questions
Can AI really analyze text messages?
Yes, as long as it reads them for what they are: patterns. Nola looks at what's observable in your texts (who texts first, how fast and how much each of you writes, how the tone changes over time, whether promises are kept) and quotes the exact messages behind each point. What she never does is claim to know for sure what the other person thinks.
How do I upload my iMessages or texts?
Take screenshots of the part of the conversation that matters (on iPhone, press the side button and volume up at the same time, or side button and Home on models with a Home button) and upload up to 5 of them. It works the same for SMS, Instagram DMs, Snapchat, Messenger, Tinder or Hinge chats. For WhatsApp, you can also export the whole chat as a file.
How do I export a WhatsApp chat?
Open the chat in WhatsApp. On iPhone, tap the contact's name, then Export Chat. On Android, tap the ⋮ menu, then More, then Export chat. Choose Without Media and save the .txt or .zip file: you can upload it as is.
Is the text message analyzer free?
Uploading your texts, answering Nola's context questions and seeing your preview (overall score, five areas, signals detected) is free, with no sign-up. The full report and the chat with Nola are part of full access: it starts with a 3-day trial, then a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime. The price of both is shown clearly before any payment.
Will the other person know I analyzed our texts?
No. The screenshots or the export come from your own phone, and NolaBloom never contacts the person you're texting with.
Can it tell if he's losing interest over text?
It can show you whether the pattern changed: shorter replies, longer gaps, fewer questions back, plans that stopped coming from his side. Those are facts you can see. Whether they mean he's losing interest, stressed or just a dry texter is what Nola helps you sort out, with the context you give her.
How is this different from pasting my texts into ChatGPT?
A general assistant answers the question you ask, and tends to go along with how you frame it. Nola is built for relationships: she asks for the context your texts don't show, looks at the dynamic over time (reciprocity, effort, what changed), quotes the passages and writes a structured report.
Are my texts kept private?
You choose what you upload: a whole chat or just a few screenshots. How your data is handled, and by which providers, is explained in NolaBloom's privacy policy.
