In life as in business, it is our tendency to want to find an issue and solve it. So is the case when we have a business that is not meeting profitable expectations. Most of the time we will look to the people involved and wonder if they are really committed, have the capacity or drive for the business. One other aspect (of many) we may look at our processes to evaluate their efficiency.
What we may not do is correctly connect the two – People and Processes. People and processes are inherently linked. Processes are mechanical and are static unless you have human intervention at some point in the cycle to create your product. People drive the processes. How they feel about the leaders and their contribution to the business will have a large impact on the success of your business.
As a leader your role is to help people understand the bigger picture and guide them to execute the processes for the benefit of all.
At NolaBloom we work with you to determine how to bring the people and processes into the right balance of efficiency and engagement to carry your business to the next level.
In the upcoming blogs we will discuss employee engagement and how it affects your bottom line.
